New Features

AI Compare (Beta)

Available to customers subscribed to both BoostDraft Compare and BoostDraft AI.

AI-powered document comparison is now available for Word-to-Word comparisons. As with BoostDraft AI, no data is retained within BoostDraft or used for training.

Note: Only the comparison function is currently available. Customization via Setting will be supported in a future update.

BoostDraft Compare Viewer (Excel and PowerPoint)

Comparison results for Excel-to-Excel and PowerPoint-to-PowerPoint files can now be reviewed directly within BoostDraft Compare Viewer, removing the need to open separate Excel, PowerPoint, or PDF viewers.

Excel comparison results can now be reviewed in a dedicated, spreadsheet-focused viewer.
PowerPoint-to-PowerPoint comparisons can now be opened in merged view within BoostDraft Compare Viewer.

Improvements

Word Comparison

Improved the accuracy of comment matching during comparison.
Improved the detection and comparison of changes within tables of contents.

Excel Comparison

Updated the Customize Sheet Mapping window and default settings so that worksheets with matching names in the original and revised files are linked automatically.

Comparison results now include content contained in PivotTables.
Improved stability when comparing .xls files.
When changes to form controls cannot be displayed directly, comparison results now include a comment describing the change.
Clarified the description of supported Excel formats.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where Excel phonetic annotations (furigana) could cause comparison results to display incorrectly.
Fixed an issue that could prevent read-only PowerPoint files from being processed or displayed correctly.
Fixed an issue where text-containing shapes could be omitted from merged PowerPoint results.
Improved stability when comparing password-protected files.
