External Section Reference (Beta)

You can now reference clauses in external files you've uploaded. Set a "title" for an external file, then write a reference in your document such as "Article X, Paragraph Y of (Title)." BoostDraft will underline and highlight the reference, and clicking it opens a popup showing the corresponding clause from the external file. This lets you check and cross-reference multiple documents without switching files.

Toolbar Mini Mode

A new compact layout option for the BoostDraft toolbar lets you keep your most-used tools accessible while taking up less screen space.

Significant Improvements

New Inconsistency Rules Window

This feature has been redesigned to make managing inconsistency settings easier. 

• Browse rules by category and view a full list of inconsistency violations, then jump directly to each occurrence in the document with a single click. Fix violations one at a time or all at once.

• Create, edit, and delete custom rules, with built-in detection and alerts for duplicate or conflicting rules.

• Import and export rule sets to share configurations across documents, teams, or your organization.

• Search for rules by name, and toggle entire categories on or off at once. The Inconsistency Rules window can also be opened directly from inconsistency highlight popups in the document.

Faster Inconsistency Scanning

Inconsistency detection now runs noticeably faster, especially for large documents.

Bug Fixes

Fixed Incorrect Detection of Defined Terms as Clause References

Fixed an issue where certain defined terms were incorrectly flagged as clause references instead of being recognized as term-level definitions.
